I totally understand that trends change. For over 20 years clients kept wanting more and more revisions on images until one day everything suddenly changed. Now, with the explosion of fake images everywhere, people are conflicted on what they want “fixed”. For my portrait photography, I’ve decided to keep it as close to real as possible. Any revisions seen in my photos have been requested by my clients.

FAMILY PORTRAITS

The line between business & individual photography is being blurred more everyday. As a commercial photographer this can be tricky to market, but it shouldn’t be tricky for you. You can have your choice of whatever type of photography you choose. I happen to be one that has been hired by magazine editors & marketing agencies for commercial-style work. PET PHOTOGRAPHY

Treat yourself and your pets to a fun experience capturing their personalities. You can come to my studio in Ventura, or I can come to you. Travel fees apply to anyone outside Ventura’s city limits. It’s a small setup, great for a driveway or back patio. Your pet can have their favorite treats or toys close by to keep their attention as we all interact with them to put them in the best spots necessary for a great picture.

SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY

This division of my business used to go under the name “Cal-Teams Sports Photography”. I was honored to do picture days for youth sports in the Ventura & Oxnard area such as; Ventura Coast Youth Baseball, Saticoy Little League, Ventura Packers, Buena High School, Ventura High School, Oxnard High School, as well as Gold Coast Waterpolo.

Although this window of time was enjoyable when the camera was in my hand, it also revealed large-scale deliverables (thousands of prints) in a fast-paced turnaround time was sucking the life out of me.

Smaller scale shoots are where I find myself now. Individual families, single teams, or a group of teammates banding together for a memorable creative shoot is what fills my heart.
